Versatility... Customization... Good Looks...
Yes, there are times in life when you can have it all.

Step 1. CHOOSE A BODY-STYLE (UC1, UC2, IC or CIC).
Each one has been designed for specific applications, so whether you need a bright, task light that needs to be routered into the underside of a shelf, or a soft accent light to set just the right mood inside your China cabinet, you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for.

Step 2. CHOOSE YOUR LIGHT OUTPUT
Do you want a bright task light? Or a soft accent light? Our UC fixtures are bright, our IC fixture is soft, and our CIC fixture can be either bright or soft.

Step 3. CHOOSE THE COLOR AND/OR
TEMPERATURE OF YOUR LIGHT.

Warm-white? Blue, orange or green? It’s all possible. Standard warm-white colors are 2700 Kelvin, 3300 Kelvin, 3700 Kelvin. Standard whites are 4500 Kelvin or 6000 Kelvin. Colors (like blue, green, red, purple, pink, yellow (you get the idea) are an option, but may cost a tad more.

Step 4. CHOOSE YOUR LENGTH.
Most fixtures only come in 2 or 3 lengths, leaving large areas unlit because the fixtures just don’t fit properly. With over 18 lengths to choose from, ranging from 4” to 70” (in 4” increments), you can now find just the right length. See the lengths below or click here for more information.

Step 5. CHOOSE YOUR FIXTURE-BODY FINISH
Our standard finish is aluminum, but for $3 to $5 per foot, we can anodize or powdercoat your fixtures for just the perfect color. Everything from Ferrari red to a fashionable oil-rub bronze finish can be achieved. Custom colors will increase lead times by at least two weeks.

Step 6. HANG WITH CLIPS OR INDUSTRIAL-STRENGTH, DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE.

Other Options:

Longer Body - sometimes you want the fixture to span the whole open area, but our light may fall a couple of inches short on either end, as in the first image below. No problem. Just tell us which standard-length fixture you want, then tell us how long the whole fixture needs to be, and we’llmake the body (aluminum) of the fixture just the right length, and center the LED board inside the aluminum body. This helps hide the wires even better, and presents a cleaner, more uniform and appealing look. (By the way, this job was replacing rope-light that didn’t give enough light, which was replacing puck lights that burned out too much. Solution? Linearstars.)

Mitering - There may even be times when you need two fixtures mitered, so they meet seamlessly in a corner. Yes, all things are possible. Well, almost.
